About Jonathan A. Staman, MD
Doctor Staman holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from Emory University and earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He completed an internship at Ochsner Clinic Foundation and an ophthalmology residency at LSU Ochsner. Following residency training, Dr. Staman completed a vitreoretinal fellowship at the Foundation for Retinal Research in New Orleans.
Doctor Staman joined Florida Retina Institute in August, 2013.
Personal
Dr. Staman is a Jacksonville native who has always wanted to give back to his hometown community. He enjoys live music and is an avid Jaguars football fan. He also enjoys any chance to get outdoors whether biking, hiking or playing sports with his wife and three children.
