The 2019 Jacksonville VisionWalk will start with registration and check-in at 9AM and the walk will kickoff at 10AM. Foundation Fighting Blindness. VisionWalk is a signature fundraising event of the Foundation Fighting Blindness, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Over 10 Million Americans are affected by blinding retinal diseases including macular degeneration, retinitis pigmentosa and Usher syndrome. The Foundation Fighting Blindness is working to find treatments and cures for these devastating diseases. By funding leading edge research in areas such as genetics, gene therapy, transplantation, artificial retinal implants and pharmaceutical and nutritional therapies, The Foundation Fighting Blindness is making a difference today to make the world a brighter place for those suffering with retinal degenerative diseases.
VisionWalk A Cure Is In Sight. Since its inception in the Spring of 2006, VisionWalk has raised over $51 million to fund sight-saving research. As promising treatments move into critical human studies, the need for research funding is greater than ever.

Proud Partner of SOS 2019 Dorm Shower & Luncheon

We are proud to partner with Support Our Scholars SOS and help change young women's lives through education. The 2019 Dorm and Shower Luncheon, by presenting sponsor Advent Health for Women, is the Support Our Scholars, SOS, annual fundraiser event to help send 20 scholars off to college.

Support Our Scholars is a not-for-profit organization that provides financial and emotional support to disadvantaged young women with extraordinary potential during their college journey.

These talented young women must be residents of the state of Florida. Most are at the top of their graduating class in high school.   Annual VisionWalk in Orlando, Sunday, April 28, 2019. The VisionWalk Mission is Changing Lives One Step at a Time.

DONNA Run 2019 February 8 – 10, 2019, a 26-mile beach block party. Although it was a cold and rainy start, the runners and crowd were absolutely fantastic. Dr. Jeroudi and our #FRIteam welcomed Donna Deegan, the DONNA, and David Garrard, former Jacksonville Jaguars NFL Football Quarterback. Proceeds from the race will benefit the Donna Foundation, begun by three-time breast cancer survivor Donna Deegan, a well-known Jacksonville Florida local television anchor who has completed several marathons after being diagnosed with breast cancer and serves as an inspiration to women Finishing the disease around the country.

The DONNA Marathon Weekend started and finished in the heart of Neptune Beach and Atlantic Beach, Florida. Known by locals as the Beaches Town Center, this oceanfront destination twelve miles east of downtown Jacksonville offers a wealth of choices to shop, dine, relax and now race! February 8 – 10, 2019, DONNA Marathon Weekend included a 5K, Half Marathon, Marathon, Ultramarathon and Event Challenges and again filled the Beaches of Northeast Florida with thousands of runners from all 50 states and many countries. Participants enjoyed an even flatter, faster Boston-Qualifying marathon course that takes them through the four beautiful beach communities of Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach, Jacksonville Beach and Ponte Vedra Beach with scenic views and an outpouring of crowd support.

Hats & Heroes Ball, Dream the Dream, benefiting Kids Beating Cancer, Saturday, September 29, 2018. When facing a pediatric cancer diagnosis, every family has a choice: give up or fight, hope, dream and love their way to a cancer-free world for their child. Kids Beating Cancer: We believe “Science is the Cure”, through your support you will be part of our commitment to bring research and clinical trials to the Kids Beating Cancer Pediatric Transplant Center. The music of the LES MISÉRABLES. Starring Terry Barber. Headliner: Terry Barber and his Orchestra Performing the Music of Les Misérables Terry Barber — International Countertenor. The star and Artistic Director of this series is Terry Barber, an internationally acclaimed, rare counter tenor. He is known for his extraordinary range, both vocally and stylistically. Terry is a past member of the two-time Grammy-winning vocal group, Chanticleer, mentioned for six Grammy’s in 2016.

35th Annual Vision is Priceless BBQ and Western, Saturday, April 21, 2018. Through the generosity of supporters, Vision is Priceless provided free vision screenings for children and adults throughout Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, and St. Johns Counties. Volunteer doctors graciously provided free comprehensive eye exams and specialty care for those without insurance and who are low-income. Money raised through the BBQ & Western helps Vision is Priceless to continue and provide these free vision care services for our community.
